On September 13, 1990, Natasha Mae Fester—fondly called Tasha—was born in Willmar, Minnesota. She was Jeff and Lisa (Chase) Adkins’ cherished daughter. Natasha had a close bond with her neighborhood and her faith during her early years. She was purified through water in Chokio’s Our Guardian angels Lutheran Church and in this way reaffirmed her confidence at Willmar’s Calvary Lutheran Church.

Tasha was notable in Willmar for her exuberant character and simplicity of making companions. She attended Willmar High School and was among the 2009 graduates. During her auxiliary school years, Tasha was successfully connected with various activities. She was likewise engaged with the Future Ranchers of America (FFA), took part in volleyball and track, and was a piece of the Cardettes Dance Group. Her participation in these activities demonstrated her ability to adapt to a variety of interests and her active nature.

Educational Journey and Career

In the wake of finishing her secondary school training, Tasha understood her objective of turning into a medical caretaker. In November 2023, she started working at CentraCare Rice Remembrance Emergency clinic as a PMHNP. Tasha genuinely emptied her entire being into really focusing on others and anticipated going to work every day.

Marriage and Family

Tasha wed the love of her life, Matthew Fester, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar on July 7, 2012. The pair moved to Grove City in 2019 after nine years of living in Atwater after getting married. Tasha had a variety of interests that showcased her zest for life. She had a kind heart and was always there when someone needed her. Her love for demo derbies and stock car racing was well-known among her friends and family. She enjoyed the thrill and excitement of these events, often attending them with her family.

Tasha was not only an avid racer but also a do-it-yourself project enthusiast. She was usually working on a project from Pinterest and took pleasure in the creativity and fulfillment that comes from doing something by hand. She took tremendous pride in all of her efforts, which included crafts for her kids and house décor.

Tasha shared a special bond with her father, Jeff, who nicknamed her “Harold.” This affectionate nickname was a testament to their close relationship. Some would say she had him wrapped around her finger, a testament to the deep love and connection they shared.

Survived By

Natasha Mae Fester is survived by her loving husband, Matthew, and their four children: Mason, Marshel, Maxton, and MaKinlee, all of Grove City. She is also survived by her parents, Jeff and Lisa Adkins of Atwater, and her brother, Trenton (Jen) Adkins, along with their children, Quinn and Leighton.

Tasha’s extended family includes her father-in-law, Marion Fester of Belgrade, and her mother-in-law, Jori Berzins of Spring Park. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Stacy (Nick) Danielson and their children Gavin, Loretta, and Bode; and Abby (Andrew) Christensen and their children Aiden, Ashton, and Ayla.

Tasha also leaves behind her cherished buddy, Ali Hood, and her grandparents, Rosey Ehrp and James (Kathy) Adkins. Tasha derived unwavering strength from her family’s and friends’ love and support throughout her life.

Preceded in Death

Tasha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alfred and Lorraine Chase, and Norm Hamner. Cindy Fester, her stepmother-in-law, also passed away before her. These losses were deeply felt by Tasha, but she found comfort in the memories and love they left behind.

Memorial Service

The Church of St. Mary in Willmar will host a Mass of Christian Burial for Natasha Mae Fester on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. On Sunday, March 17, visitation will take place at the Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Her funeral ceremony at the church will begin an hour earlier. It is preferred to leave memorials for the “Fester children.” Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar, www.hafh.org, is handling the arrangements.
